Goodbye 2014

Well, we've clearly been too busy farming to keep up a blog. Here's a post that's been stuck in draft mode for a while.

Small Acres successfully concluded our first growing season! Here's how it looked...
Who could have guessed that these small seedlings would yield so many squash?!
A very small fraction of our winter squash harvest, curing in the greenhouse.
More squash.
Sean and goat kids, Betty and Al.
Free-range, kale-fed, happy chickens
Holy chard!
Fresh beets
Mia potato head
King Theoden, an extremely large and unfortunately sterile buck

Corn, quinoa, and the Twin Sisters mountains
Post frisbee lounging
Music with breakfast at the 2nd annual labor day farm hootenanny
